Young carers celebrated World Book Day last week. It’s usually this time of the year when school children all over the globe enjoy the excitement of dressing up as the characters they love.
Restrictions of the pandemic meant many UK children didn’t have this same opportunity. However, in an effort to keep spirits high, many still participated in this light-hearted event.
Here at West Norfolk Carers, our enthusiastic team fuelled the positively contagious occasion by dressing up and delivering Easter packs to our young carers.
The young carers will enjoy decorating bird feeders, painting mini bird houses and planting seeds, along with a number of activities included in the packs.
As we ease into Spring, we look forward to more projects that will see our young carers blooming!
