Rabbits and Guinea Pigs visit Young Carers at Whitefrairs School

On Friday afternoon, young carers experienced a delightful surprise as Tracy from Cherry Tree Farm introduced a charming array of furry friends for a visit.

The children relished the opportunity to hold and interact with the rabbits and guinea pigs. Tracy provided guidance on gentle handling and emphasised the importance of maintaining a calm environment to ensure the animals felt secure.

Thanks to prior funding received by Tracy to facilitate visits to underprivileged groups, she reached out to West Norfolk Carers to organise a special session tailored for the enjoyment of some school children.

The session proved to be a resounding success, bringing a touch of joy to the children's challenging lives as they delighted in the company of these adorable animals.
