William Phoenix and Shyanne Bramwell, do a sponsored walk for a cause close to heart

It’s always heartwarming when young carers show deep appreciation for West Norfolk Carers and the services we provide, but it’s especially meaningful when they take it upon themselves to fundraise for us. Young carers William Phoenix and Shyanne Bramwell recently took on the challenge of a nearly 10-mile walk to raise money. This was no small task—especially for William, who, as someone with autism, often struggles with motivation for physical activity and, ironically, has a strong dislike for walking. However, with Shyanne’s support, they managed to complete the walk, raising an impressive £665 for West Norfolk Young Carers.

Both William and Shyanne are active participants in the groups, trips, and support sessions we offer at WNC. Their thoughtful and inspiring efforts have deeply touched everyone on our team, and we are incredibly grateful for their contribution.
