Hautbois Activity Day Out
Twenty of our young carers had the pleasure of going to Hautbois Outdoor Activity Centre in Coltishall, during the Easter Half Term Holiday. They enjoyed activities of zooming down zip wires, team building on the low ropes, bridge building across the water and climbing the high wall.
The weather was superb with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. The sun was sun may have been shining but it was still very crisp and fresh - though this didn’t stop the children from jumping and splashing in the water!
Trips like this are amazing. They make it possible for young carers to release their energy in a fun and productive way whilst helping them to build important social skills. For some it’s about experience something new, stepping out of their comfort zone and pushing themselves, for others it’s simply about getting a break.
